Happy Teacher's Day!

This specially goes to all my teachers and lecturers alike: SK Bertam Ulu '88, SK Pernu '89/'90, MGS 2, Tengkera '91/'93, SK Tangga Batu '94, SSPKL '95/'99, KMPP 2000/01, UUM 2002/05, IPPM 2007/08, as well as all my ustaz and ustazahs.
Also to my mum, Pn. Hjh. Maimunah Hasan (my lifetime teacher!), my brother, Muhammad Muhaimin Othman...my uncles, aunties, cuzzies, all my colleagues and friends who contribute(d) their hearts and souls in this challenging education field (it's never been easy!). Not forgetting too, all teachers of Malaysia... =)
Thank you lots for all the knowledge and lessons! May Allah grant you with His greatest rewards, insya-Allah.

Ya Allah, aku bersyukur dengan kegembiraan yang Kaukurniakan ini. Sekiranya ini ketetapan-Mu, aku redha. Kauberikanlah kekuatan kepadanya dan kepadaku juga.

Ramadhan Kareem

Pernah aku suarakan pada seorang kawan...setiap kali menjelang bulan puasa, hati mesti berdebar-debar sendiri. Tak pasti pulak kenapa. Mengenangkan hal yang lepaskah? Atau membayangkan sempat atau tidakkah aku menyambut Ramadhan tahun ni? Yang pasti, 4 kali Ramadhan yang lalu, memang ada ceritanya sendiri. Hurm...biarlah!
Harapan aku Ramadhan tahun ini, dapatlah kiranya bertarawih sebanyak mungkin...dan semoga lebih banyak perkara yang menggembirakan berlaku. Cumanya seperti tahun lepas, bermula dengan demam jugak nampak gayanya...Bertabahlah Jid!
Kepada semua muslimin dan muslimat, selamat menyambut kedatangan Ramadhan 1432H...mudah-mudahan segala amal ibadat dapat dilaksanakan seikhlas hati dan diterima Allah s.w.t. Insya-Allah... =))

Barakallahu lakuma
Without noticing, I've managed to memorize one hadith (alhamdulillah...), just by listening to Maher's songs (Arabic-proficient, I am not...). Found out that this song actually quoted a hadith last week after reading an IIUM student's blog post (thank you, sister!). And a few days back, I figured out the meaning... =)
The Hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira: When the Prophet congratulated a man on his marriage he would say,
Barakallahu lakuma, wa barakallahu ‘alaykuma, wa jamaa baynakuma fee khair
“Allah bless for you your spouse, grant you blessing, and join you together in goodness.”
The Hadith:
